Indianapolis, IN, 07/25/2021 – To date, Isabel Hundt and her team have won ten prestigious awards and two finalist/ semi-finalist rounds for their documentary The Power of Connection – Change the World by Changing Your Perception.

This current round of honors includes the Impact DOCS Awards, the IndieFest Film Awards, the Istanbul Film Awards, the Depth in Field International Film Festival, Accolate Global Film Competition, Mokkho International Film Festival, OTB International Film Awards, Reale Film Festival, New Fort International Film Festival, Robinson Film Awards, Hong Kong Indie Film Festival, Calcutta International Cult Film Festival, GOLDEN PEACOCK INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL, L’Age d’Or International Arthouse Film Festival in the following categories: Feature – Best Educational, Liberation & Social Justice, Documentary Feature, Best Women’s Documentary, Best Concept Documentary, Inspirational and Contemporary Issues, Special and Honorable Mention.

The Power of Connection, an Isabel Hundt Film, is a perception-changing experience for viewers.  By diving into scientific-based self-exploration, this ground-breaking documentary investigates and answers questions the world has been grappling with for centuries and even more intensely in the last few years amid social injustice protests over police brutality and racial inequality in the face of a pandemic.

Hundt’s film is an answer to those who are craving change, healing, and unity and feel overwhelmed as to how to start their path toward impact in such a large, divided, and fragmented world. With exceptional storytelling, visuals, and creativity, The Power of Connection grips viewers on a personal level, guiding them through their own hearts and homes down the path of how they can directly and immediately begin impacting humanity as a whole by starting with themselves.

Hundt, a visionary who has spent decades researching the scientific principles referenced throughout the film, says she is elated to see how it has all come together in a medium that resonates with people of all walks of life: “We are incredibly grateful for the recognition of our work. I can speak for the whole team by saying that this is such a passion project created with the only goal to bring people together in conversations that truly matter. I feel deeply honored and am grateful for the support this important message is receiving. We are truly blown away by the awards we’ve won so far. It feels quite surreal.”

In winning the internationally respected IndieFest Film award, for example, Hundt joins the ranks of other high-profile winners of this internationally respected award including Liam Neeson as the narrator of Love Thy Nature, A Path Appears Documentary featuring George Clooney and Blake Lively, Radical Grace executive produced by Susan Sarandon, a searing expose Davids and Goliath by Peabody winner Leon Lee, and Touched with Fire starring Katie Holmes.

Rick Prickett, who chairs IndieFest Film Awards, had this to say about the pool of talent in this year’s competition, “The judges and I were simply blown away by the variety and immensely important films we screened. IndieFest is not an easy award to win. Entries are received from around the world from powerhouse companies to remarkable new talent. IndieFest helps set the standard for craft and creativity as well as power catalysts for global change.”

The eight award events honoring Hundt’s documentary are known for recognizing film, television, videography, and new media professionals who demonstrate exceptional achievement in craft and creativity, and those who produce standout entertainment or contribute to profound social change. Film entries were received from around the world, including veteran award-winning filmmakers and fresh new talent. Entries were judged by highly qualified and award-winning professionals in the film and television industry.
